Roastery & café · Est. 2019

Coffee with
a citrus twist.

We roast small batches a few streets from here, pull every shot to order, and finish the day with pastries still warm from the oven. No rush, no pretence — just a very good cup.

Our story

A small shop that takes coffee seriously — and itself, not so much.

Zeste started as a market stall with one grinder and a stubborn idea: that a neighbourhood deserves coffee as good as anything in the capital. Seven years later we roast our own, buy direct from three farms we visit, and still know most regulars by their order.

  • Roasted in house

Small batches, twice a week. Nothing on the shelf older than fourteen days.

  • Direct trade

Three farms, long relationships, prices we publish on the wall each season.

  • Kitchen open all day

Breakfast until noon, then sandwiches, soup and something sweet.

Signature

The Zeste Tonic

A double ristretto poured over tonic and a wide ribbon of orange peel. Bitter, bright and cold enough to hurt a little. We sell more of these in August than everything else combined.

  1. 01 Fill a tall glass with ice, right to the top.
  2. 02 120ml chilled tonic, poured down the side.
  3. 03 Twist the peel over the glass, then drop it in.
  4. 04 Ristretto last, straight from the basket.
